Trudi Canavan’s first book for Orbit worldwide, The Magician’s Apprentice, has been shortlisted for the Aurealis Award for Best Fantasy Novel!  Already a Sunday Times bestselling hardback in the UK, The Magician’s Apprentice, prequel to the bestselling Black Magician Trilogy, could soon be winning Trudi her second Aurealis.

The Award winners will be announced at the Aurealis Awards ceremony at the Judith Wright Centre for Contemporary Arts in Brisbane on Saturday 23 January 2010.
